Privacy Policy

Time My Talk · Effective August 6, 2026 · Last updated September 2, 2026
Applies to the Time My Talk apps for iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch, and to the timemytalk.app website.

The apps collect nothing about you. No accounts, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking. Your agendas stay on your devices and in your own iCloud.

The website is slightly different, and this policy says so plainly: it counts page views with a cookieless analytics service, and if you press Share URL on the web version, your agenda text is sent to a link-shortening service to create the short link. The apps do neither of those things.

The apps (iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch)

What is stored, and where

Deleting your agendas

Deleting an agenda in the app removes it from that device and from your private iCloud database. If your device is offline or iCloud is unavailable at the time, the removal is recorded and applied the next time the app can reach iCloud.

What the apps do not do

Sharing an agenda from the apps

The share feature encodes your agenda into the link itself, after the #, for example https://timemytalk.app/#…. The apps build this link entirely on your device and upload nothing. Anyone you send the link to can read that agenda, so share it the way you would share the agenda text itself.

Notifications

If you leave the app mid-talk, it schedules local notifications for your section boundaries. These are generated and delivered entirely on your device, and are cancelled when you return or stop the talk.

The website (timemytalk.app)

The web version runs in your browser and keeps your agenda in your browser's local storage. Two things on the website do involve a third party, and they are described here in full.

Usage counting

The site uses Umami, a cookieless analytics service. It sets no cookies and does not track you across other websites, but it records more than page views. The site sends Umami these events:

Your agenda text is never sent to Umami — but its length is, as part of the share-link event. None of this happens in the iPhone, iPad, or Apple Watch apps, which send no analytics of any kind.

Share URL and link shortening

When you press Share URL on the website, the full share link — which contains your agenda text encoded within it — is sent to a Cloudflare Worker operated for timemytalk.app (url-shortener.viktor-gamov.workers.dev), which forwards it to Rebrandly to create the short link. Both that Worker and Rebrandly therefore receive the link, including the agenda text encoded in it, and Rebrandly stores it for as long as the short link exists.

If you would rather your agenda text did not leave your browser, do not use Share URL on the website; copy the agenda text directly instead, or share from the iPhone, iPad or Apple Watch app, which does not use a shortening service.

Children

Time My Talk is suitable for all ages. The apps collect no data from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

If data practices change, this page will be updated and the effective date revised before the change takes effect.
