Time My Talk runs your talks, lightning talks and meetings against a plain-text agenda, one line per section, with per-section progress, traffic-light time warnings and overtime.
Getting help
Email viktor@gamov.io with your question. It helps to include your device, your iOS or watchOS version, and the agenda text you were using if the problem involves a specific agenda.
The agenda format
00:00 Why event streaming matters 00:30 Kafka in 60 seconds: logs, topics, partitions 01:00 #ff3b30 Live demo: produce and consume 02:00 When NOT to use Kafka 03:00 FINISH
- A first line of 00:00 means times are MM:SS from GO, for talks.
- Any other first time means HH:mm wall-clock, for scheduled meetings.
- The last line is the finish boundary, not a section.
- An optional #rrggbb after the timestamp colours that section.
Common questions
My agendas are not syncing between devices. Sync uses your own private iCloud, so check that you are signed in to iCloud on both devices and that iCloud Drive is enabled for Time My Talk in Settings.
The watch app is not showing my talk. The watch app runs saved agendas on its own, so it does not need your iPhone nearby to time a talk. It does need the phone paired and in range to mirror a talk you started on the phone, or to pick up agendas you just saved there. If the watch is out of step, check that both apps are installed, the watch is paired and in range, and that you are signed in to iCloud on both.
Where does my data go? The apps collect nothing. See the privacy policy for the full detail, including the one case on the website where an agenda leaves your browser.
